NERDING: A PROGRAM FOR OLDER KIDS WHO LIKE LEARNING

The All of Us Journey is headed your way! The Journey features interactive activities, games, and more—all designed to demonstrate the power of your participation in health research.

The McCracken County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program 2025 theme is “Color Your World.” We have programs and reading challenges for all ages in June and July at McCracken County Public Library.

Beginning June 1st you can enter a recent photo of you and your best panfish caught, for a chance to win a basket full of cool fishing tackle and prizes at the McCracken County Public Library.  Participants ages 5 and up are eligible to win.

Quilt Week is coming! and we are ready to celebrate everything quilting here at the Library. 

AARP volunteers will once again be at the Library to assist with tax preparation. They will take appointments for Wednesdays and Fridays between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm from February 5th to April 11th. 

As we celebrate the Bicentennial of McCracken County on January 11th, 2025, I have been thinking about what life was like in Western Kentucky in 1825. Take a journey back in time to find out!

Everyone is invited to Drop Your Drawers in December as part of the McCracken County Public Library's 8th annual campaign to collect new packages of new underwear for children in need.

McCracken County, Kentucky - Bicentennial History Book, 1825-2025 

Our Summer reading challenges for all ages run from June 1st to July 31st. Kids, teens and adults will all get a cool keychain flashlight lantern, and be entered into a drawing of their choice for a grand prize.

On Monday April 8th, 2024 Paducah will be in the path of totality for the total solar eclipse! We will be giving out glasses for safe viewing of the solar eclipse beginning March 15th (2 per customer, while supplies last).
