Purpose of Meeting

The National AIDS Memorial Quilt is the largest community arts project in history. The project helps us celebrate the unique lives & stories of those we have we have lost. By sharing the struggles, we remember, in perpetuity, the lives lost, offer healing & hope to survivors, & inspire new generations of activists. It is fitting that the City of Quilts engages in this community project of remembrance. Planned Parenthood and LivWell Community Health warmly welcome YOU to join us each month to work on these historical panels.
LivWell Community Services will be with us providing us with safer sex products, free confidential HIV screenings, with gift cards available for screening participants who have not been screened within the past 90 days.

Community members have provided us with quilt scraps to help us get started. You are encouraged to use found items or items with significant meanings to you, but you are welcome to any community donations that have been collected. Quilt panels should measure 6'x3' if you choose to submit to the National AIDS Memorial Quilt when you are finished.
