Tree Week Paducah October 8-16

The Library is joining community members across the state in celebrating Tree Week 2022, an initiative of the Urban Forrest Initiative of The University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food and Environment that has spread all across the state of Kentucky. As part of Tree Week Paducah, the McCracken County Public Library will be offering Tree-Themed Craft Activities and giveaways for kids and adults such as tree books and field guides (while supplies last). Stop in during library hours Monday October 10th through Friday October 14th to participate in crafts for adults on the first floor and crafts for children on the 2nd floor and to get one of our daily giveaways (while supplies last). Tree Week across Kentucky!

Tree Week continues to spread across Kentucky each year. In 2021, Berea, Georgetown, Hazard, Paducah, and Somerset all joined Lexington in celebrating trees in our Commonwealth. In 2022, we are looking forward to having even more communities join us!
