Accelerated Reader is a program, run by Renaissance Learning, used in primary and secondary schools that aims to increase reading skills though the use of book-specific quizzes. The program includes a reading level assessment, and then assigns point values based on a book’s reading level. Many schools require students to complete a minimum number of points per year.
