Nathan Bennett is a forefather in Paducah music history. Behind many artists, there is often an educator who helped shape their education and development.

Did you know that a song was written especially for the 1911 opening of the Arcade Theater in Paducah, and patrons were given a copy as the curtains went up for the first time? 

Paducah native, Nat Story's life showcases an epic time in American music. His early studies at Lincoln High School led to formative years with the father of riverboat jazz Fate Marable.

The name “Nagel” has been associated with watches and jewelry in Paducah (KY) since 1865, when the first William Nagel began a watchmaking trade inside a Paducah furniture store.

On Monday April 8th, 2024 Paducah will be in the path of totality for the total solar eclipse! We will be giving out glasses for safe viewing of the solar eclipse beginning March 15th (2 per customer, while supplies last).

Mention Thanksgiving and turkey instantly pops in your head. But we in the Local and Family History Department agree that the best part of the meal is not the turkey, but the stuffing. Ahhhhh! the stuffing!
