Community Support Advocate at the Library

We are excited to announce our new Community Support Advocate! Stop in to the Library on Mondays and Wednesdays between 1 and 7 pm or Thursdays between 11 am and 3 pm to meet Katie! 

Open Office Hours: 1-7 pm Mondays & Wednesdays, and Thursdays 11 am-3 pm

Overview:

Katie can

  • Provide resource navigation: Help connect patrons with community services such as food assistance, housing programs, healthcare, or transportation resources.
  • Help fill out applications for benefits, job programs, or other social services.
  • Connect to mental health supports: Offer information on local counseling, crisis lines, and mental health programs
