National Library Week Job Fair
In conjunction with the Kentucky National Library Week Statewide Job Fair, and in partnership with Kentucky Career Center‘s Business Services Team, The McCracken County Public Library is hosting a week long employment resources event. National library Week is April 23-29th and this is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities.
During the week of April 23-29
Monday April 24th from 10am -2pm Job Fair event in the Library meeting room.
Monday April 24th from 10:30 to 11:30 LinkedIn Job Search Workshop (Led by Career Center Staff) in the 2nd floor Conference Room at the Library.
Monday April 24th from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Resume/dress/interview workshop (Led by Career Center Staff) in the 2nd floor Conference Room at the Library.
Tuesday April 25th– Saturday April 29th job list packets from the Job Fair will be available at the Information Desk in the Library.
Tuesday April 25th from 1 pm to 2 pm How to Apply for a Job Online Class offered by Adult Services Librarian Emily Steele in the 2nd floor Conference Room at the Library.
Tuesday April 25th from 2 pm to 3 pm Power Your Job Search with Google Tools Class offered by Adult Services Librarian Emily Steele in the 2nd floor Conference Room at the Library.
