The Digital Collection

The Digital Collection is the library's online resource for accessing digital versions of photographs, historical documents, and artifacts from the Local and Family History Department.

The collection contains numerous collections relating to various aspects of Paducah's history. Taken together, the collections contain nearly 2,000 digital objects including photos, postcards, written documents, books, oral histories, and more.

Is your new tablet causing you grief? Need help setting up an email address or getting started applying for a job online? If you've got technology questions, we're here to help!

Each night, a member of our friendly tech staff is available for 1-on-1 technology help sessions. Sessions can last up to an hour, and are available by appointment.

On Mondays, tech staff member Zach is available at the 1st Floor Information Desk.

Need help starting or tweaking your resume? Let Dusty help on Monday nights! We'll get you set up with the library's resume program so you can build a properly formatted resume in no time. Once you're done, you can print it and access it any time from any computer, anywhere in the world.

Sarah and Erin will lead this craft program to create a beautiful handmade wreath for your door this holiday season using coffee filters and ribbon.

Join Ms. Nicole, Brary Bear, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Retta, and Bob Dog for Story Time! This weekly program brings the children's books of the library to life through puppet shows, skits, songs, and dances.

Shows are held on Tuesdays at 10am and 1pm and all are welcome to attend. Come hear a new story at Story Time!

This week's show is "The Library Train's A-coming".

Baby and Me is a special story time for babies 0-2 years of age. The class is 20 minutes long and meets after Story Time on Tuesdays at 11 AM. One child and one caregiver will join Miss Katie in singing songs, finger-playing, and introducing babies to stories and books.

Baby and Me uses The Very Ready Reading Program, which suggests early literacy tips and fun ways to begin the love of reading with your child. The group style setting of the class is great for baby socialization and meeting new families.

No registration is required. For more information, contact Katie in the Youth Services department at 270-442-2510 x122.
