Interlibrary Loan

The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service allows patrons to obtain items not currently held by the McCracken County Public Library by requesting them from other participating libraries.

How to request materials:

Interlibrary Loan requests first go through the Suggest a Purchase form. If the library cannot purchase the item, you can choose on the form to have us request it from another library. Mark that you’d like us to try ILL if we cannot purchase the item. Be sure to include all of the required fields, and as much additional information as possible.

Rules for Requesting:

The person picking up these materials must have the library card that is on the request.

ILL materials may not be renewed.

If ILL materials are not picked up, a $5.00 processing fee will be charged.

No more than 5 items may be requested in one week. In special instances, the patron may speak to an Interlibrary Loan staff person about making an exception to this limit.

Must have a valid library card with no more that $10 in fines.
