[Virtual] Bend and Book Yoga – Trauma Sensitive Yoga Class

Join us virtually on April 3rd at 12pm for a trauma sensitive yoga class led by Bri Rollins of Lotus Children’s Advocacy & Sexual Violence Resource Center.

Trauma is the response to a deeply distressing or disturbing event that overwhelms an individual’s ability to cope.

Emotional pain and trauma memories are often stored in the body long after a traumatic event has ended. The purpose of trauma sensitive yoga is to create a space where survivors of trauma can increase awareness to the felt sense in their bodies and are empowered to use their bodies in a safe manner to self-regulate.

Bri Rollins is an Instructor at True North Yoga and also works at Lotus Children’s Advocacy and Sexual Violence Resource Center as a Restorative Outreach and Engagement Specialist. She is an E-RYT 200 & Certified Trauma Informed Yoga Instructor.
