Photography 101

The discussion will provide information on how to improve your photography. Topics will include: composition for everyday photos, including family photos, with examples, good and bad technique, posing, what to wear for a portrait, and proper care of your camera.

Learn photography basics and you'll find that many new creative possibilities open up for you and the quality of your photography improves.

A Q & A session will follow the presentation.

Mr. Ethridge has been a photographer since his teenage years, working for his college newspaper and yearbook, owning a part-time wedding and portrait photography business. His work has been published in a book, calendar, and national magazine articles. He teaches a photography course as part of community education at WKCTC. His main photographic focus these days is of his four grandchildren.

Photography 101 is free and open to the public.
