2:00 pm - Front & Center Series: Author Spotlight

Front and Center is a series of small performances/or events held in the center of the first floor of the library, directly across from the main circulation desk. The Author Spotlight is an excellent opportunity to meet regional authors in a casual atmosphere. Authors will be available to chat with you or purchase /sign their works, and copies of the titles will also be available to check out or download from the library website.

Authors /titles included in this event are :

Richard Parker: Wicked Western Kentucky

Parker and his wife, Emily, co-own Atomic City Tours, a company focused on providing historical walking tours in downtown Paducah. Atomic City Tours won their first Kentucky History Award in 2022 for their Forgotten Spirits tour, a tour that explores Paducah’s connections to the Paducah industry.

 Bruce Leonard: Quilt City Murders and the sequel, Quilt City: Panic in Paducah

Leonard is a writer, an editor, and a photographer who specializes in the arts, outdoor adventures, and long-form investigative features.

Jayne Moore Waldrop: Drowned Town, Pandemic Lent :A Season in Poems & A Journey in Color : The Art of Ellis Wilson

Waldrop is a noted Kentucky writer and lawyer. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky (B.A., J.D.) and the Murray State University MFA in Creative Writing Program.
