Front and Center is a series of small performances/or events held in the center of the first floor of the library, directly across from the main circulation desk. The Author Spotlight is an excellent opportunity to meet regional authors in a casual atmosphere. Authors will be available to chat with you and sign their works.

Todd Carr
Cave in Rock Pirates & Outlaws. Todd Carr is a lifelong resident of Hardin County, Illinois and an active member of the Hardin County Historical and Genealogical Society. Cave in Rock Pirates & Outlaws follows the folklore of the horse thieves, pirates and highwaymen clinging to the shadows of the legendary river bluff, located on the southern Illinois side of the Ohio River.
Justice Bill Cunningham
Justice Cunningham will provide information for ordering his books & will be available to autograph your personal copies. Over the years, Cunningham has authored six books on regional history. As a contributor to multiple newspapers in the bluegrass, his articles and online blog have helped to inform the public about their legal system, as well as their state’s esteemed history.
Bill Howerton
Understanding God’s Contract with Mankind -Your Path to Understanding Christianity 2nd Edition. J. William Howerton is a retired judge of the Kentucky Court of Appeals and served as Chief Judge from 1986-1990. He is presently chairman of a charitable foundation.
