From the beginnings of heritage music in Appalachia, to the songs and artists which currently dominate Nashville and far beyond, Kentucky artists have been a major influence on country music from its beginnings and continues today.  

Lew will feature stories and tunes from Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, Tom T. Hall and John Connolly and Loretta Lynn, to Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson.

Lew Jetton is a Western Kentucky based singer-songwriter, best known for Blues and Americana. A multi "Pick to Click" on SiriusXM Radio's Bluesville Channel, Jetton's songs have reached the Top 10 of the Roots Music Report's charts and have been played on radio stations around the world. In addition to his solo-acoustic shows, Jetton frequently appears with his band, 61 South, which has played stages, festivals and clubs across the Midwest and Mid-South since the early 1990s  Since 2016, Jetton has hosted a syndicated Blues radio show,  State Line Blues, heard on locally on WKMS and WDXR, and on stations in Indiana, Missouri and around the world on Southern Roots Radio, on Live 365 on the internet.
