He will also overview characteristic of trees which are suited to the art form, how to get started, and basic bonsai care. He will highlight features of bonsai by focusing on several of his trees.
Gould has been a bonsai enthusiast since the age of 20 when he collected his first tree from the ground. Since, he has started his own trees from seed, utilized yard cuttings, and purchased trees from various places around the country. On several occasions, he has attended the International Bonsai workshops in Olive Branch Mississippi, where his largest specimen was purchased.
