Part-Time/Temporary Education Specialist

Do you enjoy working with children in an informal education setting? The Kentucky Science Center is hiring two part-time specialists for its traveling “Science in Play 2Go” exhibit. The exhibit will be at the McCracken County Public Library from June 20, 2022, through September 19, 2022. The successful candidate will work at the Library as an employee of the Kentucky Science Center, facilitating programs and activities as they oversee all aspects of the exhibit experience. The position requires travel to Louisville for 2 days for training (travel and per diem are covered by the Science Center)

The successful candidate is someone who is outgoing; comfortable interacting with both small and large groups of people from a wide variety of ages and backgrounds with a special affinity for working with young children. He/she should enjoy developing and delivering a variety of educational and creative programs and activities.
