What To Read: Dog Days

The Dog Days of Summer are nearly over! History tells us (and Merriam-Webster) that “dog days” isn’t just a reference to summer days so hot you just want to lay around like a dog–it originally referred to the days where you could see the “Dog Star” or Sirius on the dawn’s horizon. What better way to celebrate the break in the heat with some good books that feature humanity’s best friend!
