McCracken County Public Library to continue limited curbside service

Continuing Monday, November 23, the McCracken County Public Library will offer limited curbside service for the pick up of holds. The building will remain closed due to McCracken County being in the red zone for COVID-19 cases. Curbside hours for the week of November 23 will be as follows:

  • Monday 11/23 – noon to 6 pm
  • Tuesday 11/24 – noon to 6 pm
  • Wednesday 11/25 – noon to 5 pm
  • Thursday 11/26 – closed
  • Friday 11/27 – 11 am to 5 pm
  • Saturday 11/28 – 11 am to 5 pm
  • Sunday 11/29 – closed

For curbside service, patrons may call 270-442-2510 ext 110 during the above hours. 

Printing, copying, faxing, and computer use are unavailable at this time. Library wifi is available for free in the parking lot for those with their own devices. All book drops remain open for returns.

Several library employees have been instructed to quarantine by their medical providers and the Purchase District Health Department due to exposure to COVID-19. This significantly limits the amount of employees working to provide curbside service. The Library asks for your patience, for there will likely be times of high call volume. Peak times for curbside service tend to be during the first open hour of each day.

Please note that curbside hours may change or be discontinued at any time due to staffing shortages or safety concerns.

Patrons who have questions about their library accounts or who need assistance using electronic library resources may leave messages. Messages will be returned within one business day.
