AARP Foundation Tax-Aide

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides in-person and virtual tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low to moderate income. Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and IRS-certified every year to make sure they know about and understand the latest changes and additions to the tax code.

AARP Tax-Aide will be at McCracken County Library Wednesdays and Fridays from February 8 to March 31.

PLEASE NOTE: You need an appointment to get taxes done this year. 

Please make one appointment for each return that needs to be completed:

• If you need 2021 and 2022 that is two appointments.
• If you need tax returns for you and your child, parent or sister, make one appointment each.
• If one person is going to bring paperwork for two tax returns make sure the appointments do not overlap.
• Please note below the items that AARP tax preparers can and cannot help with.
• Appointments can be made beginning beginning January 30th 2023.
