Getting a card is the first step in accessing all of the materials and services the library has to offer. Check out books, movies, and CDs from over 135,000 items in the collection, gain access to E-Books, use our databases to learn something new or complete a project for school, and much more.

Using the online card catalog, you can find books, DVDs, and CDs currently in our collection. Library staff members are available to assist in using the catalog or finding materials in the library.

If you don't find what you need, you can request an item be purchased, or ask that we borrow it from another library.

All items may be returned to the Returns area on the first floor of the library, or at one of our book drops at convenient locations around the county.

The library offers home delivery of materials to patrons who cannot physically come to the library.

Looking for information on a particular topic? Visit an information desk on the first or second floor where our reference librarians will help you find the answers you need.

We also have services specifically for kids and teens. The youth services area, located on the second floor, is home to our collection of books, DVDs, and CDs for kids and young adults, children's programs, teen programs, the Teen Tech Lab, and more.

There are two computer labs with a total of 44 public-use internet computers

The library has two meeting spaces available to groups whose purposes are considered by the library administration to be consistent with the objectives and goals of the library.

The David W. Denton Quiet Reading Room on the first floor houses our newspaper collection as well as current magazine issues. Comfortable seating and tables are available for studying and reading without the distractions of the high-traffic areas of the library.
